With the holidays fast approaching, there’s no time like the present to make sure you’ve got all your bases covered when it comes to gifts. While the pandemic has certainly changed the way we’re celebrating the holidays this year, there are still plenty of ways to enjoy the season.
We’ve compiled three virtual winter markets featuring local crafters and artists, so you can safely complete your holiday shopping online while supporting local businesses.
Running from November 21 – 29, this virtual market is organized by the Shoreline Arts Council. The market is set to feature jewelry, textiles, gourmet food and more. With over 20 featured artists and creators, you’re sure to find something you’ll love. The featured artisans will be announced on their website on November 21.
Featuring some of the best artists the Northwest has to offer, this virtual market will run online from November 23 – December 3. This virtual event will take the place of the usual in-person Best of the Northwest Fall Show, and will feature local artists with an emphasis on gifts under $200. The market will include traditional artwork, ceramics, fiber and wearables, culinary goods, jewelry and more.
This popular event is going digital this year! Urban Craft Uprising is now in its sixteenth year, and will run online from December 2 – 6. This indie craft fair will feature over 150 artists and makers, selling everything from bags and buttons, to toys, art, food and more. The event also features door prizes, and will provide customers the chance to talk with artists and merchants directly via Zoom.
