What could be more heartwarming than a carol sung with spirit? This month, Windermere is spreading some holiday cheer and goodwill with our “Sing It Forward” campaign.
Essentially, for every post made between December 14-25 using #singitforward, the Windermere Foundation will donate $1 to local nonprofit Mary’s Place. Mary’s Place provides safe, inclusive shelter and services that support women, children and families on their journey out of homelessness. In 2019, Mary’s Place helped move 768 families into stable housing, served 1,602 children and provided 171,909 overnight stays to those in need.
To sing it forward, all you need to do is record yourself singing Up on the Housetop, post it with the hashtag #singitforward and tag @windermere on Instagram. You can find our wintery filter on Instagram @windermere.
Nervous about singing alone? Don’t be! The saying is true: the more the merrier. Feel free to grab your loved ones or maybe even a pet to join in the holiday cheer.
From December 14-25, promos for “Sing It Forward” will air on 94.1 FM “The Sound of Christmas” and 107.7 FM. Some surprise local celebrities will also make an appearance to help spread the word!
